New Year New Opportunities: Development Projects in 2012

Last updated: 19/12/2011 // The Norwegian Embassy in Amman is happy to announce that it will be supporting new development projects in Jordan in 2012. Norway and Jordan signed a MoU in January 2011 stipulating enhanced bilateral cooperation to the four areas energy, human rights and democracy (including women’s rights), refugees and culture. It is within this framework that we are proud to announce the projects we will be supporting in 2012:

National Centre for Culture and Arts: Empowering Young Women

Al Quds Centre for Political Studies: Supporting the Role of the WomenMovement and Municipal Elections

Madaba for Supporting Development: Towards a Comprehensive National Convention to Diminish Armed Violence

Jordan Women’s Union: Combat Regional Trafficking

Centre for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ)

Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ)

Apply for Grants
