Norwegian Bishops visit Jordan

27/01/2010 // For the first time ever, all Norwegian bishops are on a joint pilgrimage to Jordan and the Holy Land. A journey that will permit them to learn more about the region and show solidarity with the Christians living here.

Amman is the first pit stop of a week long journey in the Middle East. The bishops were invited to Jordan and Israel by Munibu Younan, Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. The bishops are meeting with Jordanian government officials and the Lutheran Congregation, in Amman, as well as visiting mount Nebo and Madaba, before continuing their pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
