Diplomatic relations since 1980.  Norway and Iraq established diplomatic relations in 1980. Since then, Norway and Iraq have engaged in constructive dialogue on political, developmental and security issues at the highest levels of government. In August 2014, the Norwegian Foreign Minister Børge Brende visited Bagdad and Erbil to discuss the humanitarian and security situation in Iraq.  F Read more
